TERMS OF SERVICE
The terms, in plain words.
Last updated September 27, 2026
These are the rules for using VectaMail. We've kept them as short and clear as we can.
The short version
- Your email and everything you create stay yours.
- Use VectaMail fairly — no spam, abuse or getting into other people's accounts.
- AI features can make mistakes, so check what matters before you send it.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel; App Store subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID.
1Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Nikklab Inc (“we”, “us”), the maker of VectaMail. By creating an account or using VectaMail you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use VectaMail.
You must be at least 13, and old enough to enter a contract where you live — or have a parent or guardian agree for you.
2Your account
- Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date.
- Tell us at support@vectamail.com straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
3Email accounts you connect
When you connect an email or calendar account, you authorise VectaMail to access it on your behalf to provide the app: to read, send, organise and delete messages and events when you ask it to, and to keep them in sync. You can disconnect an account at any time.
You may only connect accounts you're allowed to use. Your email provider's own terms still apply to your account with them, and we aren't responsible for their service being available.
4Your content
Your email, notes, tasks and everything else you put into VectaMail stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and transmit them only as needed to run VectaMail for you — for example to sync them, sort them, summarise them or send them. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep something by law.
You're responsible for what you send with VectaMail and for having the right to send it.
5Using VectaMail fairly
Don't use VectaMail to:
- send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, phishing or malware;
- harass, threaten or defraud anyone, or break the law;
- get into accounts or data that aren't yours;
- interfere with the service, get around its limits, or copy, reverse-engineer or resell it;
- use automated means to access it, other than the app itself.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
6AI features
VectaMail uses AI to sort email into categories, summarise threads and help you write. AI can get things wrong: a category may be mistaken, a summary may miss a detail, and a suggested draft may not say what you mean.
Check anything important before you rely on it or send it. What you send is your responsibility, whether or not AI helped you write it.
7Subscriptions and billing
- VectaMail is offered as a paid subscription. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy.
- New subscribers may be offered a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you're charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If you subscribe through the App Store, Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds under its own terms. Manage it in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app or your VectaMail account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription.
- If we change the price, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next renewal.
8Changes to VectaMail
We're always improving VectaMail, so features may change, and some may be added or removed. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid subscription includes, we'll tell you beforehand.
9Ending your use
You can stop using VectaMail and delete your account at any time in Settings › Profile › Delete Account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we're required to by law, or if we stop offering VectaMail — in which case we'll give you reasonable notice where we can.
10Disclaimers
We work hard to keep VectaMail fast and reliable, but it's provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every email will be delivered, sorted or summarised correctly, or that it will meet every need you have. Keep your own copies of anything important.
11Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Nikklab Inc isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of VectaMail.
Our total liability for any claim about VectaMail is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
12If you use the iOS app
These terms are between you and Nikklab Inc, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for VectaMail or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and isn't responsible for any claims about it. If VectaMail fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using VectaMail after that, the new terms apply.
